Book With Us
At LCCC, your medication management visit is unhurried and focused on helping you feel safe, heard, and supported. Visits are done in a traditional way, in person or through telehealth, so you can meet with us from home or any private place that feels comfortable for you. During your appointment, our pracitioner will go over your health history and talk with you about what you’ve been experiencing—your symptoms, concerns, and what you hope will improve. This helps us understand the full picture and choose a treatment plan that makes the most sense for you. If the patient is a child or teen, we may ask a parent or guardian to join for part (or all) of the visit so everyone stays informed and on the same page. Our goal isn’t just to prescribe medication. It’s to answer questions, explain options in plain language, check in on how you’re doing, and provide care that feels personal, respectful, and tailored to your needs.
How do I prepare for my 1st appointment?
Getting ready for your medication management visit is a lot like getting ready for any other doctor’s appointment—no stress.
Before you come in, it helps to bring a few details so we can take the best care of you:
-
A quick health history (any major medical issues you’ve had)
-
A list of medications you take now and any you’ve tried in the past
-
Any recent surgeries or hospital stays * Any vitamins, herbs, or supplements you take regularly
-
A short list of symptoms you’ve been noticing (when they started and how they affect your day)
-
Any family history of mental health concerns, and what treatments (if any) have helped relatives.
If you don’t have all of this, that’s okay—bring what you can, and we’ll help you fill in the rest together.

Making an appointment
The easiest way to make an appointment at LCCC is to contact us directly. You can call our Virginia office at (804) 877-1969. We welcome clients of all ages—children, teens, and adults. If it’s easier, you can also use our secure online appointment request form to ask for a time that fits your schedule. Our team is here to help and will do everything we can to make getting care feel simple, comfortable, and stress-free.

Your appointment time at LCCC is reserved especially for you. When someone doesn’t show up or cancels at the last minute, it takes away a valuable time slot that could have been used to assist another client in need and reduces effectiveness in serving the community. Because of this, there is a fee for no-shows and late cancellations.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least **24 business hours in advance**. This helps us offer that time to someone else who may be waiting for care. To make any changes or cancel your appointment, just call or text the LCCC office and a member of our team will be glad to help. Thank you for understanding—we truly appreciate it, and we look forward to supporting you.
